Workshop Regarding Birzeit University’s Palestinian Archive Project

 

On Saturday October 15th, 2011 the Ibrahim Abu-Lughod Institute of International Studies(IALIIS) held a workshop concerning the digitized Palestinian Archive project at Birzeit University. During this workshop the nature and importance  of the archive was presented, in addition to the significance of preserving these valuable documents which contribute to preserving and documenting Palestinian history.

Conclusion of Training on Capacity Building in Population Studies

 

From October 3 - November 16, the assistant coordinator in the Forced Migration and Refugee Unit from the Ibrahim Abu- Lughod Institute of International Studies took an internship on Capacity Building in Population Studies under the supervision of Dr. Nivein Abu-Rmilah in the Institute of Community and Public Health.

On September 28, 2011 the Ibrahim Abu-Lughod Institute of International Studies(IALIIS) at Birzeit University, celebrated the launching of its recent publications entitled: Palestinian Refugees: Rights, Narratives and Policies and Gaza-Palestine: Out of the Margins.

Thesis Defense: entitled ” Russia’s Strategy in the Unipolar System ( Constant & Variables)”.

 

 

Under the Supervision of a Committee Consisted of Dr. Abdel Rahman Ibrahim as the Head of Committee Dr. Lourdes Habash and Dr. Samir Awad, Nardeen el Memi Defended her Thesis entitled ” Russia’s Strategy in the Unipolar System ( Constant & Variables)”.
