Jonathan Whittall

Jonathan Whittall has 20 years of experience working in emergency humanitarian responses, negotiations and conflict analysis. He worked for Doctors Without Borders (MSF) for 14 years, including as Director of the Analysis Department and in managing emergency responses in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, South Sudan and Libya. Between 2022 and 2025, he was the West Bank coordinator, Deputy Head of Office and then Head of Office for the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Palestine.

Taher Labadi

Taher Labadi is a political economist who received his PhD from Université Paris-Dauphine. His research examines the relationships between capitalism, colonialism, and resistance in Palestine and the Middle East, with particular attention to agricultural policies, labor governance, and special economic zones. More broadly, he studies the knowledges, practices, and institutions that shape economic life in contexts of domination and struggle. He teaches at Birzeit University (Palestine) and is an affiliated researcher at the French Institute for the Near East (IFPO).
