New publication for Dr. Asem Khalil entitled: Socioeconomic Rights of Refugees: The Case of Palestinian Refugees in Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria. The working paper in English published by the American University in Cairo

 
Dr. Asem Khalil presented a paper in a conference organized by the PA High Judicial Council, and supported by Seyada, on: “Prospects of Constitutional Review in Palestine.” The paper is entitled: Constitutional review in Palestine from the perspective of constitutionalism. 

 
Ibrahim Abu-Lughod Institute of International Studies hosted Saahir Lone (Deputy Director in the Office of UNRWA's Commissioner-General), and Leila Hilal (a Policy Consultant to the Office of UNRWA's Commissioner-General) on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 as guest speakers in the course of Peace Studies and Conflicts Resolution.  

 
Ibrahim Abu-Lughod of International Studies convened its annual conference entitled “Ibrahim Abu-Lughod and the Engaged Intellectual: Resurrecting a model.” The conference took place on Tuesday 12th of April, 2011, to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the passing of Professor Ibrahim Abu-Lughod.
The conference conveyed the original meaning of the engaged intellectual that existed in the 20th century, while substituted in the current century in a caricature entertain showing off and media polishing.

Under the Supervision of a Committee Consisted of Dr. Raed Bader as the Head of Committee Dr. Abdul Karim Al Barghothi and Dr.  Roger  Heacock, Tareq El Shorti  Defended his Thesis entitled ”Turkish Foreign Policy Towards the Palestinian Issue from the second Intifada to the Aggression on Gaza (2000-2010)”.

 
The Ibrahim Abu-Lughod Institute of International Studies hosted Mr. Pierre Joxe, Former Defense and Interior Minister of the French Republic, former member of the Constitutional Council, for a brainstorming session, on Saturday, 30 April 2011.
