Conclusion of Training on Capacity Building in Population Studies

From October 3 - November 16, the assistant coordinator in the Forced Migration and Refugee Unit from the Ibrahim Abu- Lughod Institute of International Studies took an internship on Capacity Building in Population Studies under the supervision of Dr. Nivein Abu-Rmilah in the Institute of Community and Public Health.

The training addressed many issues on population and demography in Palestine and in the world. Also the training mostly focused on how to address decision makers and grab their attention on the various population issues in Palestine such as unemployment,  the status of the elders,  smoking among students in schools and others. And near the end of the training the interns were divided into groups and prepared a policy brief on the Services provided to the elderly in Palestine.
