Syracuse University Press has recently published a book by Dr. Majid Shihade entitled "Not Just a Soccer Game: Colonialism and Conflict Among Palestinians in Israel". This book sheds light on a growing problem of internal conflicts and violence within the Palestinian community in Israel, with a case study of a soccer game between two Palestinian villages: Kafr Yassif, and Julis which ended with a fight between the fans of the two teams and resulted in the killing of two people, one from each village.
