Dr. Ali Jarbawi

Professor of Political Science and International Studies at Birzeit University.

He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Cincinnati. He served as Minister of Planning and Administrative Development and Minister of Higher Education.

He worked as a special advisor to Prime Minister Salam Fayyad and supervised the preparation of the Palestinian Developments plan.

He held the position of Director General of the Palestinian Center for Human Rights. He worked as Secretary General and Executive Director of the Central Elections Commission.

Dr. Ghassan Al Khatib

Professor of Cultural Studies and International Studies at Birzeit University.

He graduated from Birzeit University in 1982, then obtained a master's degree in economic development from the University of Manchester in 1986, and Ph.D. from Durham University, UK, in Middle Eastern politics, in 2007. He founded and managed the Jerusalem Center for Media and Communication for eight years. He worked as Minister of Labor and Planning from 2002-2006, and Director of the Government Information Center from 2009 to 2012.

Dr. Lourdes Habash

Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at Birzeit University.

She held the position of Vice President for Community Affairs at Birzeit University, Director of the Ibrahim Abu-Lughod Institute for International Studies and Head of the Department of Political Science at Birzeit University. She holds a Ph.D. in political science from Cairo University.

Dr. Yasser Amouri

Professor of International Law at Birzeit University

He holds a master's degree and a doctorate in public international law from the University of Granada, Spain. He held the position of Dean of the Faculty of Law and Public Administration, Head of the Law Department and Director of the Master’s Program in Law, worked as a legal coordinator at Orient House, and served as a member of the Committee for the Development of the Justice Sector and Review of the Judicial System and the Independent National Commission to Investigate Human Rights Violations in Palestine during the period from 2014 to 2015 and the Committee Palestinian independent investigation according to the Goldstone report.
